DHAKA IN BANGLADESH

Dhaka is the capital of Bangladesh.It is a biggest city of Asia.This city is situated on the bank of the river Buriganga.Dhaka is called as the 'City of Mosques' and most of the people are muslims.
Rickshaws are the main transport in the city
and there have some auto rickshaws also.
Colourful rickshaws on the city streets are
common attractions for the visitors.
Dhaka experiences a hot, wet and humid tropical climate.

The main language of this country is Bangla.
English is also spoken by most of people especially
for business purposes and education.
Many facilities are available here like Higher education,

Telecommunication, good jobs facilities,Hospitals,Hotels

Food shop,Shopping mall etc.
Pahela baishakh,pahela falgun,Nobanno utshob,
two mu slims religious festival,hindu religious


festival etc are the main cultural program

Ahsan Manzil Museum





The Ahsan Monjil is the home of the Nawab of Dhaka .Now it is a museum and visiting place.you can go there by texi cab,cng,rickshaw.You will know about the Nawab family and his activities after going there.The museum is open all day at 10am-5pm.Only weakend the mueseum is closed.







Lalbagh Fort



It was built by Prince Mohammad Azam in 1678 A.D.

It is situeted south of Azimpur, and right north of

Buriganga river.Here you can see tomb of Pari Bibi , Lalbagh Mosque, Audience Hall Nd the main museum.You can visit here by bus,texi,rickshwy or cng.It is closed on Saturday.Otherwise it is open all the day.It is open at 10 am-5pm.











Central Shahid Minar :







Central Shahid Minar is the symbol of Bengali nationalism.


This monument was built to commemorate

the martyrs of the historic Language movement

on 21st of February in the year 1952. The day is observed as the “International Mother Language Day” in all over the world. People gather into the shahid minar premises with lots of wreaths & bouquets marching towards the monument on barefoot.




Parliament House:







Parliament house, Shangshad Bhaban is located at

Sher-e-Bangla Nagar.It was designed by the famous

architect Luis Kahn. It is a fabulous structure. Construction of the Jatiya Shangshad Bhaban began in 1961 by the Government of Pakistan..The total area of the Shangshad Bhaban are 200 acres.




National Museum:






The National Museum of Bangladesh is located at the central point of the city named Shahbag. Present Bangladesh National Museum is the successor to the Dhaka Museum. Lord Carmichael, the Governor of Bengal inaugurated the Dhaka Museum on 7th August 1913. On 20th September, 1983 Bangladesh Jatiya Jadughar (National Museum) ordinance came into operation. It preserves and displays the cultural property and heritage, as well as specimens of natural history of Bangladesh.
