Cox's Bazar in Bangladesh

Miles of golden sands, towering cliffs, surfing waves, rare conch shells, colorful pagodas, Buddhist temples and tribes, delightful sea-food--this is Cox's Bazar, the tourist capital of Bangladesh. It is well known for its wide sandy beach that is claimed to be the world's longest natural sandy sea beach, which is about 125 km. This is one of the best Sea-Beaches in the world, where we can see the sunset and sunrise everyday, with an enjoyable weather.

Cox's Bazar is a district in the Chittagong Division of Bangladesh which is located 150 km south of Chittagong and is connected city by bus and air. The town was named after Captain James Cox of East India, who was in charge of the naval base during 1800 AD. Area of this town is about 2491.86 km². The major source of economy of Cox's Bazar district is tourism. A large number of tourists come almost everyday here from distant places even from abroad like Britain, America, Korea, Japan, India, Nepal, Pakistan and many more countries.

Cox’s Bazar is also one of the fishing ports of Bangladesh. A good number of peoples are also involved in the fishing and collecting seafoods and sea products for their livelihood. It is a good place for sea bathing also. Except the world’s longest sea beach, there are also some more attractive tourist places i.e. Aggmeda Khyang (a large Buddhist monastery), Dulhazra Safari Park, Himchari etc.
The Aggmeda Khyang, a large Buddhist monastery, and a place revered by around 400,000 Buddhist people of Cox’s Bazar and the Chittagong Hill Tracts. The main sanctuary-cum-monastery is carried on a series of round timber columns, which apart from accommodating the prayer chamber and an assembly hall, also is the repository of a large of small bronze Buddha images-mostly of Burmese origin-- and some old manuscripts. Beyond the main khyang to the south there is an elevated wooden pavilion and a smaller brick temple with a timber and corrugated metal root.

Dulhazra Safari Park is an extension of an animal sanctuary located along the Chittagong-Cox's Bazar road about 50 km from Cox's Bazar town. The sanctuary itself protects a large number of wild elephants which are native to the area. Some other animal attractions like Lions, Royal Bengal tigers, Crocodiles, Bears, Chitals and lots of different types of birds and monkeys are also in this safari park.
Himchari is another place located about 18 km south of Cox’s Bazar along the sea beach, a nice place for the picnic and film shooting. It runs by the open sea on one side and hills & water falls on the other which makes the journey to Himchari very attractive.

Nepal

Nepal is a landlocked country in South Asia. China and India border this country from the north and the south respectively. It is called The Himalayan Kingdoms. Katmandu is the capital of Nepal. Historically, what is now Nepal was made up of many small kingdoms. The modern state was formed with the Unification of Nepal by Prithvi Narayan Shah on December 21, 1768. Until 2006, Nepal was a kingdom. Nepal is now a federal democratic republic. Nepali is the official language of Nepal, with almost 60 percent of the population speaking it.
The country is known for its majestic
Himalayas and has nine of the fourteen peaks in the world over 8,000 meters, including Mount Everest and Annapurna where Mount Everest is the highest peak in the world. Nepal commonly is divided into three broad physiographic areas: the Mountain Region, the Hill Region, and the Tarai Region and among them Mountain Region is the most beautiful one where Mount Everest exists. The Mountain Region constitutes the central portion of the Himalayan range originating in the Pamirs, a high altitude region of Central Asia. Himalayas have attracted foreigners to Nepal since Mount Everest was first climbed by Sir Edmund Hillary and Tensing Sherpa in 1953. Mountaineering and hiking were of considerable interest as were rafting, canoeing, and hang gliding.

The hill region includes the Katmandu Valley, the country's most fertile and urbanized area. Two major ranges of hills, commonly known as the Mahabharat Lekh and Siwalik Range (or Churia Range), occupy the region. the Tarai Region is a lowland tropical and subtropical belt of flat, alluvial land stretching along the Nepal-India border, and paralleling the Hill Region.
